The Everton Board Thread

Don't know the answer either mate.
Starts from the top I suppose, why he wanted to keep bill and co I will never know.
The only explanation I have for Moshiri’s approach is that he’s as close as you can get to a benevolent billionaire. *

He chucked money at the club with gay abandon. He bought into Bill’s theatricality around Everton on day one and has never questioned it since. Of course he’s the right guy to keep as chairman - he loves the club etc.

The stadium will be his legacy, I think that probably is an ego thing, but fair enough.

So I can’t fault the guy’s generosity. He’s just a bit dim, I think, and doesn’t realise he is because he’s a billionaire and that means he can’t be dim.

But he is.

* There is of course no such thing. No human being happy to be that disproportionately wealthy could be a fundamentally decent person… but then again, maybe that’s why he’s burning his fortune up at EFC.

Yes it will. When we can’t afford the rent on it as a League 1 club and we’re playing home games at Tranmere. That will correctly be Moshiri’s legacy, to be remembered in the same breath as Coventry and Wimbledon’s owners.

They've set a precedent now with not turning up and the headlock briefing to the echo.

Either they return for the Arsenal game after we've likely gone bottom and have to face the fans.

Or they continue to stay away as the protests get worse.
Oh, they'll not be back. Activate Operation Goodison Self-Preservation!

Is there any evidence, CCTV Footage, to the headlockgate.
However think as a fan base we're a bit deluded Moshiri owns the club so he's going nowhere so the best we can expect is that he introduces an experienced management team to run the club. But as he hasn't so far my expectations are limited .
I fear that this season is already finished for us blues but ever the optimist I hope not.

So you actually think the Board and Kenwright are just poor little people caugh up in web of deceit by Moshiri
No, I think they're business lightweights and hangers-on like everybody else does. I just don't think it matters whether they go or not is all.

The issue for me is that Moshiri's a complete buffoon when it comes to running a football club, he's sunk us into depths that we haven't seen before when it comes to watching us play. He's the most perfectly Everton billionaire in existence.

But, when you weigh up the damage done on the pitch against the potential of the new stadium, the need for the stadium wins out (as it should do imo). The threat of the stadium being cancelled is why we don't see a larger X painted on Moshiri's back, even though this whole catastrophe is 90% on him. The anti-board stuff feels like the biggest deflection going to me.

Whilst I agree that fans are more concerned for the stadium than anything else (especially on here) a lot are seeing him for what he is.

But you’ve got to remember the board, as directors, have a responsibility for the business. All of them have failed drastically; they are supposed to ensure the day to day to running of the club despite what that nobhead does. They’ve failed at every level
