The Everton Board Thread

Pretty much what was stated at the weekend, to prevent misinformation being issued towards our fans (see the click bait on the Daily Mail website on Sunday)

The F1 incidental meeting

MSP are interested in Everton FC for a reason. There is a severely underperforming asset there (due to incompetence of Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale), that could with professional board members be turned around with the right expertise.

MSP are really the main show in town and will certain help get Everton focused. On Performance

They will also restrain the urges of Moshiri getting involved in player transfers and the like plus individuals like super agents having undue influence. Things that incompetent and self serving Kenwright should have done.

MSP are professional investors. They are here to see Everton back performing again on and off the pitch. That is their investment. Which will raise share prices.

There is no way on this earth any professional investors will allow Bill Kenwright to remain on the board. No way.
With all the noise suggesting MSP’s investment is imminent I hope it gives a crumb of comfort to some of the more extreme doom mongers here: they will have done their due diligence and will not be blind to the possibility of relegation, so if they are making their investment without knowing our status for next season it will be because the underlying financial numbers don’t point to the extreme Armageddon some on here predict.

These are no mugs and they aren’t going to risk their whole investment going south on the basis of a few football scores between now and the end of the season. If the investment goes through it will be very reassuring.

Never mind Kenwright. How the hell did Graham Stuart get in?!

Plus shouts for.Kevin Campbell are equally embarrassing

Kevin Cambell, not only single handily saved the club from relegation with his goals, he also single handily helped remove the " Everton are a racist club " reputation.

He moved the club forward years in terms of the racist tag and made it acceptable for non white players to sign for us.

Our first black captain too.

100% he should be in there,

Let’s hope the first thing they do is get rid of bill for good

it would immediately endear them to the fanbase and inject a little positivity going into the final games of the season. It doesn't help the dross on the pitch right now, doesn't help them score goals but it would at least offer some hope that regardless of what happens this season we finally have people in place that can get this club back on track.

Close enough

"THE last names to be elevated into an Everton Hall of Fame have been revealed – and current chairman Bill Kenwright has joined Duncan Ferguson, David Unsworth, Graham Stuart and Tony Kay as the final Evertonians to be admitted.

But there is no place for FA Cup winner Mike Trebilcock, two-time title winner Pat van den Hauwe, or the highly regarded Kevin Campbell and Nigel Martyn."

Laughable that he's in ahead of a whole host of players. I'd honestly have ANYBODY who's played 5+ games in ahead of him.

Disgusting parasite.
How did Kenwright get in before Claus Thomsen?

100% he should be in there,

We had black players before Campbell? Amokachi, Bakayoko, Barrett, Cadamarteri.

When did they close the hall of fame then?

Would Cahill be worth a place in there? Ok, he never won anything but he would be exactly the kind of player you'd always want in your side.

How did any of them move the club forward, with regard to the clubs racist reputation at the time though ?

Anyway back on topic, sack the board.

Were we still seen as a racist club when Campbell joined though? Genuine question because I’m too young to remember the 90’s.

But yes most definitely sack them all.

Excellent post. Correct

Can someone with better understanding around investment and business answer me this. I’ve been thinking why would MSP invest 105 million to get 25% when if we go down, they could probably get the same 25% share for half the price.
