Let's get Graeme Sharp on the record

Let's get him to answer the questions. Given no one can ask him to his face since Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett-Baxendale cancelled the EFC AGM

What are Graeme Sharp's views?

Does he still think the opposition to Bill Kenwright's mismanagement is "one man and his dog"?

Graeme Sharp has legal responsibilities now to shareholders and fans.

It's about time he spoke up to tell people what he thinks in his role.
I wish them nothing but good luck.

He's not going to tell you anything.

Telling quote this:

"We recognise that taking action could be very difficult given your long-term relationships with fellow directors."

Translated: 'We are not expecting you to do anything or even respond because we know you have your head stuck halfway up Bill's arse'.

The letter was issued merely to highlight that he is playing his part in current malaise surrounding the club and is doing absolutely nothing to resolve it.

Credit to those involved.

I appreciate the effort to contact Sharp however i would be surprised if he responded.

In a way it kind of shows the problem, if he doesn’t make decisions or have any influence, why is he there? Everton need pro active people, people with foresight at board level, people who do have a impact that helps take the club forward collectively , other wise what is the point?

It’s the same with Kenwright, the fans who in the past who have been constantly saying “he doesn’t do anything “ “he’s just a figurehead “. That’s not good enough is it? And in a way you are revealing a bigger issue. The club needs people who actually do have major responsibilities and do them well.

The current situation is basically people receiving an income for placating others and it’s not working , nor will it work because that’s not a base set up for success for the club. That’s a set up to satisfy themselves and not Everton itself . This is why they are acting the way they are , why people who have placated them and been rewarded are staying quiet and this is why the club is the way it is.
Not knowing Sharps personal finances. Does he have some serious clout behind him? Leeds had Eddie Gray and Peter Lorimer as club representatives in the Ken Bates era, they just said Bates was doing the best he could. We always felt they needed the club and some sort of support due to their personal circumstances.

The void thats been created by the board and their silence needs to be filled with intelligent, passionate truth speaking supporters whose love for the club is the only reason behind why there are protests. There is no hidden agenda. They/we just want whats best for this club of ours. As far as i can see it has been. Kenwrights silent routine is more a weapon he is using to try and destabilise any groundswell amongst the fanbase. Speaking to us gives legitimacy and thats the last thing he wants. The letter from Evertonians to sharp is a good move coz its in the mainstream media. I dont know the ins and outs of the company rules but its a very good move if the company law means he has to address shareholders. To all responsible keep up the good work. The best thing we can do is win our matches. If its plain for everyone to see that the supporters are right behind the team and management and we keep winning it weakens the boards position and the images of empty seats in the front row of the directors box we can be subverted and used by us. Lets turn it into an image of positivity, possibility and change. Make every home game an event full of banners and colour. Most of all lets win together. The media will be all over that. The supporters who fought for the future of the club and won. Got a ring to it like. Good luck blues.

Agree with every word there. No expectation on a response and fully designed to back him into a corner with the rest of the rats until they're ultimately punted.
