The Everton Board Thread

You misunderstand me sir - if the FAB were stooges of the board then they wouldn't be calling them out.

The boo boys who had labelled Jazzy a club plant have been proven wrong once again.

Can't even get a meeting with these board members

Says everything about the board members and what a joke our club is thanks to these board members including Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale.
The two senior members ruining the club and refusing to resign, in Kenwright's case

I feel sorry for the FAB & DBB - Bill Kenwright is out of control.

I think the point that has be illustrated here is that the board members hold even their own stooges in contempt by failing to turn up for meetings with them.

Another new low.

Yep, it’s just another nail in the BoDs coffin as far as the fans are concerned - they are literally now starting to dig their own grave……they are just all so clueless

Am surprised Kenwright didn't order the dimwit Sharp to attend: on the other hand he would not have been able to respond to any questions that couldn't be answered by "Be careful what you wish for".

Or perhaps the FAB meeting clashed with his MENSA gathering.

As already said the FAB is just a token gesture and those on the FAB, while I don’t question their integrity or their good intentions (there seem to be some some very good and decent people on it), they are being made to look foolish by the freeloading incompetents who make up our board.

I can’t see the point in it anymore the club as doesn’t care.

Sources close to the club say Kenwright is shocked and appalled that his on-point, pitch-perfect, well-timed, expertly-placed recent message to fans has not received the adulation and praise it warranted. Having read the mood of the fans so well before dictating his heartfelt yet not in the least bit self-pitying piece he now believes that fans just don't understand want they really want, as this is the only possible explanation. For this reason he vows to remain and guide his misguided and somewhat ungrateful serfs back to the good times

Token gesture it might be, but isn't purely brought in by the club. It was part of the PLs attempt to prove it could govern in the wake of the Super League debacle. And the timing could not be worse with the hearings with the Government about football governance going on.
Perhaps someone on the FAB might want to bring this snub to the attention of the PL, subtley

I think the plan is to make them mandatory, and politically there is a lot of cross party support for implementing such fan involvement.
I always understand that we had set up ours to get ahead of the game , so to speak.

Good points raised and you're correct as well about the PL being involved in it too. Sure I've heard it mentioned at that time about a token fan bring put on boards as well ? Don't think any clubs have put it into action like.

Does anybody think that in the event of us being relegated, any of the directors would dare show their faces at Goodison again?
