The Everton Board Thread

Wait, what?! They have a rule that allows them to flaunt another shareholders personal medical status in public in order to force their removal?

I can just about understand that if he wasn't compos mentis, but I dont think that's the issue here...and neither would it be right to publicize that either.

Have they given specifics?

They've merely indicated there are concerns his health is not up to the demands of the role.

To be fair to foreverblert92. I think he's only defending DBB because she's helping Everton to win The Championship trophy he so desperately wants.
Board oot.

I've come to the conclusion that you're a troll account desperate for some clout by speaking ill of your champ.

When you put down the spatula and go on to achieve anything in business management within a large multi million pound organisation then I'll take your criticisms of a CEO seriously.

I guess I’m just being a bit pedantic as one of the most vocal posters told us that Kenwright would definitely be gone and gave 2 different reasons that in essence it’s already done. But after acting like they were ITK, is now saying different.

He was definitely gone as soon as Moshiri completed recapitalising.
He was also definitely gone as soon as the information that the poster supposedly knows comes to light in the summer.

Both would indicate that the protests don’t matter as he was definitely gone in both cases.
There's too many personal agendas in here with the result that people are losing sight of the bigger picture, which is that the protests have been a success and are bearing results.

I have to say I do have sympathy with what they are actively trying to achieve but I winced when I read that….I think speculating about another’s health in an open letter is over the line for me, but I guess we will see if it flushes a response out….I doubt it but we will see

So if someone is incapable of undertaking a role due to ill health, no one is allowed to know or for people to discuss it?

There's a public interest.

Everton Football Club is a failing business. Under independent commission referral for P&S breaches.

It's very relevant. People should know the truth.

It's relevant as he is chair of the board of directors. In a failing business.
It is irrelevant because it is rumours and hearsay and may not even be factual. It is definitely not the reason why the club is in the mess that it is in. The failing business has come from many many years of really poor leadership and decision making by him and his boardroom cheerleaders and long before any rumours of illness and that is why he and others need removing and replacing as soon as possible.

No one's health should ever be questioned nor should it be pushed as reason to back up your agenda to get what you ultimately want.

It isn't rumours or hearsay.

Bill Kenwright himself told the shareholders he was in ill health

That idea is ripe for abuse

Where people unfit can occupy roles they are not fit to under take

There are fiduciary duties to consider that Bill Kenwright has himself to club stakeholders

There are two aspects for me personally….1) Would I have done that? No, not personally but I accept that the objective of the combined groups is to radically move the dial which brings about change…discussing something like I’ll health furthers that objective it’s just not something I would do personally and 2) is there any actual public confirmation by reputable sources that Bill Kenwright is indeed I’ll, and that his illness is causing him to not be able to execute the duties of his office to the levels required? I know it’s talked about on here, but I don’t think I’ve ever read or heard anything that says he is ill. I guess what I am saying is how do we actually know he is ill, other than ’John in the pub told me he was’. Again just for clarification in case anyone accuses me is dissenting, I agree he needs to be removed.

Yes. I would suggest to check out EFCSA

Specifics were not revealed. Only Bill Kenwright indicated himself he was in general ill health
