The Everton Board Thread

There's too many personal agendas in here with the result that people are losing sight of the bigger picture, which is that the protests have been a success and are bearing results.
I agree and do think the protests need to continue until Moshiri gets the message that he needs to sell up (which is beyond once the goal of removing the board is achieved).

But, if you come on here, making a load of claims as if you are ITK, get upset when you get called out on it for having no evidence and repeatedly just saying “wait and see”, make a post saying you are leaving the forum because of it, come back within 24 hours and then change your views (despite supposedly having inside information), you should expect to be called out on it.

Just watch what happens

That idea is ripe for abuse

Where people unfit can occupy roles they are not fit to under take

There are fiduciary duties to consider that Bill Kenwright has himself to club stakeholders

It is not for us to decide weather someone is fit to do their job or not, though to be fair Bill hasn't been fit for the job since he arrived at the club when I assume he was in better health then.

If you invest money into a company

That company Chairman/CEO has an illness that makes the running of the company impossible.

It leads to you losing your money.

You did have a right to know as that Chairman/CEO had a fiduciary duty to tell you

That you could take action to prevent yourself from losing your money

This would have been recorded in the Everton Football Club Annual General Meeting minutes (which is generally public)

But they cancelled the EFC AGM. Didn't they?

So if someone is incapable of undertaking a role due to ill health, no one is allowed to know or for people to discuss it?

There's a public interest.

Everton Football Club is a failing business. Under independent commission referral for P&S breaches.

It's very relevant. People should know the truth.
People have the right to privacy, and that includes a person's health.
He can be judged on the outcomes rather than on any contributary causes so it is neither relevant nor appropriate to mention it

Hardly good for Everton Football Club or its stakeholders is it?

What do you mean by personal agendas? Not saying there is none, but in what context?
I mean that some fans are more concerned with criticising other fans than directing their angst towards the real culprits - the people that run the club.

You have a consortium of fan groups who are prepared to unite and go out on the streets in an attempt to get something done about the situation. Then you have a load of happy clappers on internet forums who mock and deride their actions, pull apart and criticise everything they say, and call for them to stop. All of which plays into the hands of the owner and board.

It's no wonder we have such difficulty getting things done about the running of the club when anyone who does anything gets shot down like that. It would drive you to despair.
