The Friedkins will due their due diligence carefully and thoroughly. We have to hope the closet is empty of skeletons. The PL ODT should be straightforward.

If/when they take control task number one is stabilising the finances and clearing more debt. Task number two is improving the executive leadership & Board. Tasks 3&4, in parallel to 2, are optimising the move to BMD and starting to get the football side to take a step forwards from the academy upwards, with whatever investment and personnel changes that will need.

It is a long way back to the summit of the game and that may never be achievable in the current football economic climate but it is a much smaller step to credible challenger status alongside the likes of Villa, Newcastle and maybe West Ham (who are there financially). That should be a realistically achievable 3-5 year plan IMO. If we can find a trophy and/or a couple of Euro adventures along the way as they have done I would currently bite your hand off for that even though I am old enough to have seen us win 3 titles, 2 FA Cups and the ECWC.

Does anyone have insight into just how much money moshiri has lost in his time here?

Don`t think we`ll ever know exactly mate, as it`s so complicated where all the money went.

However, according to @ForeverBlue92 he`ll make a small fortune from the sale though.

He knows this, as he`s now diversified from taking wedding photos of the good folk from the greater Widnes area and giving spiritual guidance to menopausal ladies, via his global Patreon account, to setting himself up as an expert advisor on all matters relating to football finance and governance.

Curious how long it will take to get this over the line, then so we can hear from them for the plans for the club
I wonder if they will revisit the legacy plans for GP? Total guess, but I think they will. Could be a home for the ladies team, youth teams etc. Part demolish it and you'd still have loads of space for community use.

I could be wrong but I think the legacy plans drawn up for Goodison were part of the planning application for BM. If it was it would be very difficult to renege on what was proposed

Reducing the debt burden on the club should mean that there will be more money available for transfers eventually.

Just need to get shot of the RMF loan and that would put the club in a much healthier financial position
I would imagine that will be high on their list of first priorities rather than needlessly paying high interest

Hopefully Denise Barret Baxendale is the CEO of those great ventures as we are still feeling the implications of the incredible job she done here....

Sounds like an expensive undertaking with no financial reward though.
There aren’t socialists running football clubs I’m afraid
