Where are you based? I saw a half decent one in Costco a while ago for about £120.

If you can get one where the seat and back sections are adjusted simultaneously as it automatically gives you the best angle. Old style ones have two separate adjustments and aren’t as good.
Thank you for the recommendation.
I live just outside of Washington, DC and have a Costco membership.
I’ll be honest- I hadn’t thought of them but probably should have. They sell everything.

Something like this would be good. I've just checked Costco's stock but realised it'll be completely different over your side. The choice will likely be better. Also with Costco it'd make returns easier as you can just go and drop it off.

Back at it big time the last two weeks

I tend to try and get in and out in an hour. I'm lucky the gym is on my way home, 1 min drive from house. Currently 2 days

Day 1
Warm up - 3 mins skipping or rowing
Mobility workout - med ball or light dumbbells to get firing
Some power/plyo work - box jumps, horizontal jumps, wall sprint complexes
Core sets of 3 exercises eg plank, side plank, bird/dogs, Russian twists
Set 1 - lower body vertical push (squat), core, upper body horizontal pull (rows). Do 4/5 sets
Set 2 - lower body pull (single leg deadlift, core, upper body vertical push (shoulder press), kettlebell swings

I'll post day 2 if anyone is interested

I feel like I’m slowly going insane. Went in to the gym earlier and the 13 year old noodle boys are having a full on pose down contest in the squat rack lol lol lol

Never setting foot in this place again.

Had my induction at my new gym and had my body fat measured at 17%. Not fantastic, but not as bad as I thought it’d be.

I’ve been training in the local old school gym these last few weeks and it’s been decent on the whole. The owner has given me some detailed constructive criticism over my Huel and Lucozade addictions. I’m spending far too much money on them, to be fair.

Also trimmed my sessions down to 40-50 mins and I’m enjoying it more. It feels much less of a chore than when I’m doing 80-90 mins, and I’m less likely to injure myself from over training.

I’ve realised I’m 100% one of them fellas who goes the gym after xmas until the start of the summer and jibs it off. Rinse and repeat.

I used to hate them lids. I’m the king of it.

I recently measured mine at 17%. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Thought it would be worse

Also found out my left leg is less muscular than my right. That might explain how I knackered my hip squatting

You need to get some single leg exercises into your workouts

Split squat
Reverse lunges
Step ups
Weighted single leg deadlifts
Side lunges (deadlifts)

Single leg exercises beat two legged

Started back again about a month ago. Just doing a load of cardio at the minute:

Bike
Incline walk on the treadmill
Bit of elliptical
Rower
And some rowing with weights

Just trying to shed a bit off the side and shoulders. Not trying to look like a weightlifter or UFC juice head, just a bit more respectable.

Down at least a stone

Cheers mate yeah once my hip impingement clears up I was planning to focus mainly on lunges and things like that
