Any regret on being anti Moyes?

I dislike David Moyes always have always will. ( don’t know why I just do) Never get the arse licking for him ‘done well on a budget’ yes he did, sorry but that doesn’t excite me enough to make me worship him.

He was excellent for stability and I never felt like we would be near relegation in his final years with us. We always felt dependable and you knew that we would be in and around the European spots. It would have been interesting to see what he would have done with the money when he got it. The last year or so with us we actually started playing some really nice football that helped the Martinez transition be much smoother but I never felt the same buzz or excitment with a Moyes team as I did with the Lukaku/Del/Barkley side. His signings at WH have been pretty good so far but he still has the odd dud in there.

The poll suggests there are many fine Evertonians who feel resentment towards how a sizeable amount of their fellow blues treated Moyes. I hope this thread can help them heal.

He did a half decent job but imho had reached the level of his skills. He had ten years admittedly with little funds but the club and him needed to move on. Unfortunately we didn't move forward with the correct manager, quite simple really.

How can anyone to this day still claim he stayed too long after what happened since.
He did leave of his own free will and then tried to skin us for our two best players at the time for a pittance. I think these are the main reasons why people didn't want him back. What has happened since has no bearing on his tenure other than nobody half competent has been put in charge since (i reserve judgement on lampard until we've seen more evidence)

Couldn't stand his negativity but hes certainly got an eye for a good player, ask yourself how many players out of this squad would moyes of signed, I would be amazed if it's one.
`cept Rooney. he hardly played him even though the kid was a monster. Rooneys first game for Man U and he goes and scores a hat-trick yet our Moe Syzlak lookalike didnt think he was ready for regular game time.

I don’t hold it against him that he tried to sign Fellaini and Baines - let’s be honest, it was unlikely to be Moyes deciding on the size of the bids. Woodward made a mess of that whole summer for United.

We got Martinez who had relegated Wigan and promptly took 4 of their players. It’s a bit rich for us to complain about Moyes trying the same.
