The Moyes Myth.
Some on here have the same level of affection for him that Bolton fans have for Fat Sam
Both are small time, and fell short of the Standard that we should demand.

Bwahahah

He spent bugger all and got us at the top end of the table consistently.

We’re now narrowly avoiding relegation and in a huge hole. Moyes time here was sunlit uplands compared to now.

He held us back.
Small minded mentality and got it wrong when it counted.
Not my fault, people accepted this mediocrity and embellished it as success.

Have we gone backwards since?
Yes.

But does that mean it was wrong to get shut of the ginger Scottish winger?
No

One of the best things I have seen at Goodison was when Death turned up in the family enclosure pointing at him when he came as Utd manager.

That is the level of disdain I can get behind when someone leaves the way he did. Regardless.

I'm sure you'll find lots of Arsenal fans who are unhappy with being comfortable in 5th. I'm also sure lots of Burnley fans were unhappy with being comfortable with 17th. I'm just happier looking up and showing a bit of optimism, but maybe that's just me. Forgive me if I'm wrong but weren't you one of the Benitez acolytes?
You are forgiven.

Thank you, unfortunately you are not, nor ever shall be.
You asked me for forgiveness. I didn't ask you. So spare it.

Benitez was for the sins of Carlo haters. You think I actually like that kopite? And evidently since you condemned Everton with 10 years of misery for chasing out Moyes. Benitez was for you to. And i'd have him back again in your honour. And revel in it.

Oh a bit touchy aren't you. Good for you, embrace your bellendness mate, own it.

Without him we would have been relegated.

He lifted us up on a shoestring and over performed our budget.

Our current situation shows just how good he was.

We will never agree so let’s leave it there.
