Just not true though, is it? But nice try.

Look mate, I've told you why I think Forest are a better unit than us. I've said I don't think they're miles ahead of us. They are a better team though, I'm afraid. Disagree with that all you want, but I've yet to see any convincing argument to convince me otherwise.
But you will tell us that every team in tbe league is better than us, bar probably Ipswich and Southampton, because it suits your argument. You’re a dychette so you have to protect him at all costs, I get it mate no problem.
As an Everton fan I have a bit more ambition and expect a bit more than 7 wins in 32 playing atrocious football

I don't have to protect him. You see, I'm different to a lot of people. There's no grey area for me, I just want what's best for Everton. I will either want a manager sacked immediately, on the spot, that's my stance, or I'll at least try to be fair.

Nonsense. They were 17th last season were they not? We have a better team that we did last season but somehow they are in the both top half and flourishing we’re as we’re and down the bottom, it’s simply down to the manager. One has done really well and improved the players, our dinosaur has been crap and been full of pathetic excuses

I've heard this nonsense being spouted by one or two Dychettes before about the club's spending in the transfer market.

At the end of the day that team on the pitch can play a lot better and win a lot more. It is Dyche that is holding them back. It is precisely that.

Anything else is just semantics.

this team is capable of have a mid table season. And underperforming form wise this season but not by miles.
We have no premier league quality fullbacks. No real pace.
Any manager we get in now, with no ownership or investment available is as likely to do worse than better. It will be a 50-50 gamble.

Semantics doesn’t come into it, mainly used by people that have no idea what it means

You're missing the point.

These are excuses.

Martinez signed players on and we had a song about it.

The bare minimum is that the team Dyche puts out can do better well another manager will have us getting better results and make it more easy on the eye.
If you think that this current Everton is a product of points deductions, klarna player transfers and on-going relegation you're deluded.

Not at all mate. You're missing the point in relation to what Forest are doing and what our predicament has been the past few seasons - which is how the conversation started.

They're not excuses on performances game by game on the pitch. But they're certainly a factor over 2 and a bit seasons into why it's a difficult job and how it's steadied since he took over.

It's like people just forget the clubs in a mess for years and they expect top 10 pushes without a struggle.

Certainly not me. I know the club's been a mess.

I would not ever excuse the Kenwright years. Moyes's knife to a gunfight and all that. Moving forward we have to walk before we can run.

That does excuse having a p!55 poor manager like Dyche. The fact that Lampard struggled and Dyche came in does not mean Dyche is unsackable when he starts to struggle (I say starts to struggle loosely).

Investment in the team or lack of it, isn’t excuses. Talented footballers have an effect on how good team are
Before the season started there were shouts for McKenna at Ipswich but theyve died down. As I said a couple of weeks ago -- with him needing to rebuild much of the team with young players is this someone who may be suitable for our role?

Anyone still interested in him? Currently winning 2-0 vs Spurs.

I think he seems well suited to what we need.

Let’s see at the end of the season shall we. Could have had Chris wilder or the Luton manager if the fans had their way in previous seasons

Forest are doing better because their manager has looked at his players and found a formation that works for them.

A great manager uses the squad effectively and shapes a plan with what they have available not shoehorn players into positions they are not suited to.

We play one way and do the same like for like subs EVERY game for a year nearly hence why Dyche has won 7 games.

Given our squad it's maddening that we haven't used a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 when we have bought O'Brien, Beto and Ndiaye but Dyche is a dinosaur who survives on set-pieces.

I quite like the Bournemouth manager.

An exciting team, not afraid to attack and compete
Most teams in the Prem arnt afraid to attack nowadays.
Even watching Ipswich , Wolves & Southampton they play without any fears .

Then watch Fulham , Brentford & Bournemouth teams we should be at the very least equal to ( I think should be better )
They all go out to win games , as we all know 3 points are massive .

There's only one team adopting a different policy , wonder who that is 🤷‍♀️
