You've made the point a few times there would be noise/leaks of their intent.

I disagree.

They hired Mourinho when nobody expected it.

They sacked de Rossi when nobody expected it.

You say everyone knew it was Ranieri who'd go to Roma, eventually - but most of the media reports/consensus was it would be Mancini. Ranieri was wrapped up pretty quickly by comparison.

TFG have a reputation for keeping things very quiet;
I thought the main issue at Roma was when Tiago Pinto leaving. He was the man who appointed Mourinho as he’d been given full reigns to the footballing operations as General Manager

The business side of thing were run by the CEO. The mistake they made was giving the CEO, who had little footballing experience, the ability to make footballing decisions.

She sacked Rossi and fell on that sword

What I’ve read about TFG is the people they appoint to these positions have full control and live and die by the decisions they make

Did she?

Or was she the sacrificial lamb?

🤣

What am I lying about TODAY? 🤣🤣🤣

There is no evidence to what TFG would do... it`s all opinion, this is Everton and we can`t have nice things. New owners and nice new stadium watching Sean Dyche football lingering around 16th/17th is the ultimate "Everton That" situation.

Fixed that for you.

The talk coming from the people connected to the club and that includes TFG, "The plan is for Dyche to go till the end of the season"

Well she was assumed the General Manager responsibilities when Pinto left

This ran alongside her duties as CEO

The general manager appointed managers and oversaw all transfers. Pinto was one of the reasons for Mourinho

She assumed those responsibilities and made an awful decision in sacking Rossi

I wouldn't be terribly keen on Mancini. There would be worse options for sure, but again he wouldn't strike me as having a big personal stake in whether we improved or not. I'd prefer a more dynamic coach whose career trajectory was on the way up and saw much bigger things ahead for themselves. Someone in a bit of a hurry with their careers and not just happy with the next pay-off.

Toppmuller at Frankfurt, Hoeness at Stuttgart are the type I would be looking at. Whether they would entertain the thought or not is another matter.

I don't think she was responsible for any hiring/sacking of any manager.

Just like Marcel Brands, who was responsible for Everton's entire footballing strategy, wasn't sacking Silva, or hiring Rafael Benitez.

Lina Souloukos relationship with De Rossi was soured in the summer when she refused the appoint of Freeric Massara and Nicola Burdisso.

Soulouko was trying to power grab in Rome by appointing people to posts that she had worked with in the past; she wanted Palladino as manager, alongside former Forrest technical director Modesto - who she worked with in Greece

Believe it or not, but executives at other clubs are actually allowed to do what they are paid to do without the interference from crackpot owners and their fat mates on yachts in Monaco
