I miss the pigeons
Yer mar getting up before everyone in the morning to get the coal fire going so the house was nice and toasty.

Every other house had a pigeon loft. As a kid I helped a neighbour build one, he filled it with some fantastic birds, then one day a bleeding cat got in and killed them, he was distraught, I'd never seen an adult cry before........
