The small world of Eddie Howe

If Howe wasn't an Everton fan we would all be horrified at the idea of appointing him. Because he is a boyhood blue only a large portion of us is horrified. Same with Moyes. had he not been at everton we would all argue that he is a [Poor language removed] manager

ATM per rumour mill it is between Moyes and Howe, for me out of those two would prefer Howe. Might find Watford chasing him now.

If BK has his way it will be Moyes - ugh.

I would be about as excited appointing Howe i was when we appointed Silva.

The track record of Howe is good enough? He has experience to save a team from relegation zone? He has experience in European competition? He has experience on other "Big Club"? He has experience on other teams of Big 5 league in Europe? He has good track record on premier league such as first 6, even first 4? All the answers are "NO". When compared with Moyes or Rafael, Howe has no any superiority except he is younger, but I don't think young is merit, experience is important to us now especially we face the threat on relegation.

I think that Eddie Howe is the number one choice to replace Marco Silva. I would guess that negotiations are ongoing and at the weekend Howe was very careful not to comment either way about the reported Everton interest at taking him as manager.

Wilder is twice the manager Howe is.

Wilder is a good manager but this is laughable. Every achievement Wilder has done, Howe has done better, for longer.

Howe took over Bournemouth in League Two. Took them up to League One. Left for a bit to totally rebuild Burnley (who got promoted 18 months after he left). Returned to Bournemouth in League One, took them up to the Championship and within 2 seasons was promoted to the Premier League, where he's kept them.

Like Howe, Wilder has took Sheffield United from League One to the Premier League - an achievement which deserves praise. But he's only been in the Prem for 14 games. If he keeps Sheffield United up comfortably for the next 3 or 4 seasons, then he's possibly at Howe's level.
