Is there any reason to think this, though?

Don't think he's had a poor start.

He looked good against Stevenage too. But I'm just being pessimistic I suppose.

I'd love him to stay, but I can't help thinking he's offski.

In the meantime, I suppose I'm questioning his commitment in a match situation. Rightly or wrongly.

But I still support him while in a blue shirt.

Out:
Fellaini - 25M

In
Deulofeu - Loan
Kone - 6.5M
Alcaraz - Free
Robles - 1.5M
Barry - Loan with anoption to sign him on free at the end of the season
McCarthy - 15M
Ince - 8M

Good or bad window?

Those three fees would make it an AWFUL window. £30m outlay on three players with a combined value of £15m? Nein danke.

In fairness, there has been repeated rumour that Kone was only £1.5m up front - if the add-ons are based on scoring, winning a cup or final league position, we're in a win-win situation with him.

The replacements will be key obviously but i haven't heard any names mentioned so far who would make up for the loss of Fellaini.

This is the key to it all.

If we got McCarthy and Moses, that means we would have extra in central midfield and an extra cutting edge going forward.

So that for me would be an improvement.

If we got Barry on loan as well, that would be even sweeter.

Felli out; McCarthy in = extra in central midfield? How's that pal? One out, one in equals no numerical change in CM and then it's subjective re quality. That's not "extra in central midfield".

How would McCarthy give more than Fellaini in midfield?
