I feel he'd be a bit wasted, only his power that is. We wouldn't give him much to attack up in the air with a centre half but he's a quality player.

There must be a striker worth taking a punt on abroad? Finbogasson is apparently available for 4.5 million and has a terrific record. OK no guarantees that he would replicate that here but worth a punt on this type of player surely.

Not what we need. i'd prefer money to be spent on a centre midfielder who can make things happen. After today it has become even more evident that McCarthy is not what we need either.

Agree, but that's probably put another 2 million on his price tag. Great talent.

As we are only 4 competitive games into the RM era its hard to judge however the lack of goals is a worry, especially as we have created many a chance. I am hoping RM pulls a few rabbits out of hats in the next 48 hours. Surely he knows of a Spanish out and out goal poacher languishing some where in Europe? Even if its someone getting on a bit who will come in and do us a job for a season or 2 ala Super Kev Campbell.
I do now think we will see Felli and Baines stay, the lack of comment from Felli's dad would be indicative of that!
If we sign Barry and a goal scorer I'd be happy.
