Good point, but I wouldn't class that as a new (bid for, negotiate over, agree terms with) transfer. Just my opinion like...not saying you're wrong Brenz.

Martinez will get to work when he's back from his summer break. However I'm certain if there's something to be done in the interim period, it'll get done.

I hope that Garbutt will be given a chance this year and that ultimately he will replace Baines.
I really would like to see a few of the youngsters get some first team experience this season.
Fifteen or twenty minutes at the end of a game would build up a level of experience and comfort in the first team very quickly.

Last season there were practically no games that we had won comfortably or lost completely to allow the manager to make those kind of substitutions.
On the couple of occasions where we had a comfortable win,like the Cheltenham cup game,the young lads were still left on the bench.

I think Martinez must be desperate to run the rule over the squad at first hand before plunging in too fast. He may see things differently to Moyes concerning who's a non-runner first team-wise. Obviously he must already have a fair idea where about defo needs attention, like.

David Son, hes got a 46" tele in his office, he will have watched every game we played last Season.
