Most mediocre - crap clubs have talented players in their first team and it will always be that way. I'm talking about the individuals and not the club. They are diabolical signings if it happens.

I don't understand some people are happy with us signing these mediocre players. These players helping us to get top 4?? Seriously? Are we becoming Norwich?

You are talking like he had done something special by making loads of money for his old club. Sorry he ain't Wenger. You can praise him for signing those unknown players but I don't agree with it.

We have Heitinga on our bench - Alcaraz is cheaper and is probably actually interested in playing for Everton.
We have Anichebe/Jelavic on our bench - Kone is an improvement on Anichebe, not so sure about and in form Jelavic though, but Kone is still better than Anichebe, so both players are IMPROVING the squad without a player even being sold.

How do you know Whelen will accept anything less than the release clause fee?

There are probably hundreds of good strikers around the world and if he chooses Kone why can't I doubt?

Adam Le Fondre
Grant Holt
Marouane Chamakh

I'm bored now. There are loads of players who are worse but would cost a similar amount.

I'm not saying Kone is a good signing mate, but there are certainly worse scenarios out there.

Ok then this is a rumour from a user of this forum while the media said £6.5m is the release clause.

Listening to TalkS**t before, I almost crashed my car through laughing so hard. Apparently there are 3 clubs (Premier League clubs as well) willing to pay up to £8m to the RS for... wait for it... Jonjo Shelvey!!!
