LOL Vitor had scored 26 goals in 167 games, his finishing is dreadful and he not even a kid anymore. he 25. Kone is just as strong as Vitor and is better at passing and can score goals.

we have just lost 3 squad players so Alcaraz Kone and Mcgeady bring the numbers back up. Dont think it will eat into this seasons transfer budget as the Kone Mcgrady deals surely cover the Fer fee from January.. After these 3 maybe some additions to improve the team Honda a new CB a GK and maybe another striker/midfielder.

It's still money wasted in my eyes. The money is coming from our budget, regardless if it was from January or for the year - it could still be spent better imo

If we sign those 3 with not selling anyone, I would be very happy.

Which is exactly what we're doing mate! Doesn't bother me whatsoever, however, i dont rate McGeady, would rather have Redmond. Think a lot of people are assuming that these three will be the only ones we bring in, theres absolutely no chance of it, call me insane but to me, they are squad fillers. The first eleven will be improved when Heitinga and Fellaini will be sold. When that happens we will see a high standard of player available to us and Martinez will pick them up.

Some corkers in here like, WARNING, PUT IT ON MUTE BEFORE WATCHING!

If we sign those three players without selling anybody i don't see where there's room for complaint. None of them are awful, Alcaraz will be better than Heitinga, Kone will probably be our best striker, and McGeady would be better than Naismith.

NAH LID, WE SHUD BE BUYING ONE TEN MILLION POUND PLAYER TO REPLACE PLAYERS THAT HAVE LEFT.

Kone an Alcaraz are players I've watched a good 5 or six times last season other than games against Everton and I believe they are both good signings, the one issue being that they are 29 and 30 respectively. McGeady I am way unsure about but if he signs then I hope he proves me wrong and I will be right behind him.

Honestly don't see a problem with Kone, other than his age, as a player he's quick, strong, good in the air, can beat a man, can bring others into play, according to that video he can score some great goals, not a bad signing.

For those who think these signings were underwhelming remember back in summer 04 we bought in Bent Cahill and Bosnar ending up selling Rooney. I remember feeling very underwhelmed then but that season turned out alright.

Never been impressed with Mcgeady at all, but maybe Martinez has an idea of how to use him effectively. Slightly different player, but Maloney is an example of a limited attacking player being successful under Martinez.

Kone looked good the few times I saw him. He's a bit better than Vic. He and Mcgeady will certainly give us a bit more variation in attack anyway.

Alcaraz is a no-brainer if Heitinger's gone. Solid defender.

I know these are just bodies but still for 10m I'd like either to see some first XI challengers or atleast some future prospects and sell-on value. That's all.
