The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

I know these are just bodies but still for 10m I'd like either to see some first XI challengers or atleast some future prospects and sell-on value. That's all.

Kone as already pointed out will be an improvement of Vic.

Alcaraz a like for like for Heitinga.

McGeady must at least be as good as Naismith........musn't he? :(

Exactly. Honda would potentially help us to the next level. We are crying out for a class playmaker and for all the potential Barkley might have its a massive risk to expect him to be that player.

Redmond could go on to be a £10m+ player.

We could get both and Alcaraz for probably less than we'd have to pay for Kone and McGeady

I've read several pages of this thread, people ****ging off Kone, why? He scored against us in all 3 matches last season didn't he? He reached double figures for a relegated side in his first season in this league, how is that proof he's not good enough for us and btw, what do we expect to get for 4m these days, anyway? That wouldn't even buy Danny Welbeck's right foot and he scored 1 goal all season last season. Hate to say it but beggars can't be choosers at the end of the day, there's plenty worse out there than Kone

Kone has scored 1 in 2.75 games everywhere he has been except Seville HE GETS GOALS

Alcaraz is a free

Mcgeady is a former 9mil winger who is loved by his present club and will in my opinion form a great "bainaar" partnership with coleman.Mcgeaman or Coleady perhaps..............

It's been said already, Honda will join a Champions League team on 100 grand a week, we can't compete with that I'm afraid

I'm gonna put my head on the block here and say that I think kone will be a very good signing for us..... He's not just a battering ram up top , the lad can play too and with better payers around him I think he'll be fantastic..... I'm gonna come back to this thread in a few months after he terrorises the horrors across the park and bangs in a hatrick against them for us.

Yes McGeady is better than Naismith but we don't need small improvements - we need big ones if we're going to challenge. We need to find better

Hoping you're right. McGeady is a big no for me though

Need someone to answer this foe me if we get in alcarez and kone and if fellaini is sold as well as heitinga does the money that we get for both players get reinvested in the squad or does it go to paying off debts? Reason why I'm asking after that meeting last night I find it hard to gauge what will happen

People saying Kone is great becuase he scored against us...see fkin Johnny for that mess.

Some would be best served to bite there tounge before they annoint these new players as good players.

Time and results will tell.
