OK, assuming this Deulofeu kid is coming in - looking at the squad it is looking very healthy, lot of defenders though!

GK - Howard, Robles

Def - Coleman, Hibbert, Stones, Baines, Oviedo, Jagielka, Distin, Alcaraz, Heitinga, Duffy.

Central MF - Gibson, Fellaini, Barkley, Osman.

Wide players - Mirallas, Peinaar, Deulofeu

Strikers - Jelavic, Kone, Anichebe, Vellios

I am sure a couple of them at least will be going out, and this is not taking into account Garbutt, Lundstram or Kennedy.

Think we still need another central MF, maybe two if there is a sale.

Depending on formation (say a 4-3-3), you could put Anichebe in the wide player category, Pienaar in the MF category, perhaps Barkley as a "wide" player or forward. It will be very interesting to see this squad in August and how they operate.

Agreed, we definitely need another CM and preferably a strong type. Ideally Fer.

True. We missed Gibson massively when he was out last season. If Gibson and Fellaini were unavailable we'd look pretty lightweight in CM.

I think we'd still need another central midfielder even if Pienaar was being classed as one. Look a bit lightweight when Fallaini is missing
