Money, is the answer, it's been said many times already. We can't risk forking out so much as we have so little.

What have we been doing then mate? Mirallas, yakubu, felliani etc. three of our best signings all signed with the majority of our budget and all massively improved us

Point us we are skint, when our rivals can bring in 3 £10 mil players we need to bring in the one £10 mil player or 2 £5 mil players and if we sell a player by all means bring in a few squad fillers/free deals but that's essentially how we have achieved our good league finishes bringing in 5 players for £1-2 mil wont improve the first team and thats what RM needs to be careful off

heard that martinez is going to give youth players more of a chance this year, barkley etc, and has told them not to worry about making mistakes and play without fear...players seem to like what hes about.

Maybe he feels that our younger CM's can fill the gaps?

We havent been forking out much...

1 Million Euros or whatever for this not-so-mini Kone is nothing if he turns out to be a beast of a player in a couple of years.

Case in point - we could/should've had McCarthy for about £1.2m a few years ago from Hamilton... Now they want £12m +

You need to put a bit more punctuation in there.

Martinez is doing it his way, Moyes is gone and the last 10 years mean diddly squat as far as I'm concerned.

No one knows how much we have to spend, maybe we don't make anymore signings unless someone is sold, no one knows, neither do you or I.

I'm waiting to see what happens, and then I'll judge at the end of the window, seems reasonable especially as Martinez has only been in the job 3 weeks.

FC Twente won 65% of their Eredivisie matches last season when Nacer Chadli played. Without him, they only won 25%.
Chadli is a superb player imo and would back him to have an impact at most clubs that would sign him. At Spurs though? I have my doubt about that. Seems to me they're are oy signing players, because they don't want to have too much spare cash lying around. I mean, do they really need that Paulinho guy or Chadli?

They certainly take the squad issue seriously.

I'm surprised someone hasn't had a crack at Kenwright for not disclosing how much money is in the transfer kitty. Where's the full disclosure Bill?
