Extra TV money increases Everton's revenue by £25-30M. Not being used on player acquisition but on 'infrastructure' according to Elstone.

I wonder when he'll get specific on what infrastructural improvements will be taking place? Maybe he'll also at the same time get around to specifics on Other Operating Costs.

Gangsters at this club's helm. Literally hundreds of millions of pounds coming in and through their hands which is never properly accounted for, and our position always remains essentially the same.

There's a social crime taking place here on a grand level.

We're so lucky to have him.

Exactly - from Nil Satis to also rans..... Kenwright and the board are not just going to go are they?? Is that it for the " Transfer Kitty " for another Window??

Something stinks........

Baines, club may not offer him a contract untill Sept, a few ITK still maintain that the club are waiting on or are expecting a bid from UTD. it,s down to Moyes and the right price as far as the club is concerned and IMHO the whole shooting match is going to go down to the bitter last days of the transfer window.

I would prefer us to move MF on now but unless we have real offers on the table we are just going to amble towards the end of the window.

The board prefer to wait it out till the end of the window but is that really an option for the manager?

Regarding Baines,Fellaini and any other Everton player. We have no idea what is happening regarding sales or contract negotiations.
We don't know if he will spend more money or has money to spend.
We don't know if he is happy with his squad, wants to sign more players and we don't know the positions he wants to strengthen ,if any.

But,in spite of this lack of knowledge, feel free to be depressed about our chances for next season.

we wont see the full value of this new tv money imo.
in my opinion the mortgaging of tv revenue should be banned and is imo just a gateway for money to be syphoned out of football by dodgy money men.
vibrac corporation for eg , who reckons that green and earl have some stake in this firm ? im guessing they do.
this increased tv money = increased loans and increased interest payments and more money in there pockets.
its a swindle. puppeteer a club , run the club to the point it needs to survive on loans , give a loan and make a few million ... rince and repeat.

The EPL is a huge money machine and everyone has their snout in the trough so no one is going to pull back the curtain unless they can afrord to go toe to toe.

Fan power is the only true power left in the ground and on social media that can shake the tree. I have no time for those amongst our blue fanbase who know what is going on and yet still support it as if it should be accepted.

No there isn't. Firstly, you have spun Elstones words and have ignored his comment about spending firstly on the team. Secondly, If you want every little item of other operating costs listed, its a very long list, and Everton tell as much, if not more than other clubs. 30 million is not 'hundreds of millions of pounds coming in....do your maths again. Our debt remains constant in a very difficult trading period. There is a loss of less than ten million. If you want the club to clear this loss in full(not the way it works, but, hey, if you want it...) out of the extra income, improve facilities a little ,etc., you might find the remaining ten million or so of new money can go towards transfer fees and wages. We have reduced by a little our excessive wage bill, yet you seem to want us to pay out even more. Incidentally Aston Villas 'other operating costs' were around the same as ours...the RS figure was almost 60 million, Even Boltons figure is usually between 17-20 million. What is so exceptional about the Everton figure? And its no answer to say they have risen dramatically over the last few years...that has happened at the majority of clubs as well. The 'conspiracy' of other operating costs is a myth created by those with a particular agenda. There is plenty of genuine ammunition to fire at the board so there is no need to create groundless 'theories' based on absolutely nothing at all.

Bale was a huge player for Spurs last year.Without him they wouldn't have even been close to 5th.
Whereas the money will be welcome,it is a blow blow to their esteem that they have lost their most influential player. It shows they are still not considered one of the top teams and will make it more difficult to attract "A" players to the club.

However,85m odd is good consolation as consolation goes.

Davek, you have already been proven wrong on your first big prediction of the summer(managerial appointment).
With a full month of the transfer window to go , I think it prudent that we should all wait to see what happens regarding the buying and selling of players.I am convinced that next season James McCarthy will be an Everton player(unless Gareth Bale money dictates otherwise) but we will have to wait and see what has to happen for that to occur.

A cheap shot at the board will always attract the "usual suspects",but you are usually better than that.
