Don't know why there's a debate over the merits of JM and MF, it' s not like there's going to be a choice in the matter. Fellaini will want to move on when the call comes - and that's bound to be some time soon - it's not like he's being forced out to shoehorn McCarthy in. If Martinez uses some of the cash to go back for a player he has full faith in, that's fine by me. I'd sooner we kept hold of Fellaini too, but we have useless ball bags in the boardroom that make that impossible.

Etienne Capoue is a better player than James McCarthy and is available for much less. If Fellaini goes, I really hope we make the correct choice for his replacement.

Anyway back to business - I called a delta yesterday but Bainesy appeared from beyond the horizon and offered me a lift. He said Moyes was a pyar belle and he wants to stay here and play up front.

agree with this, in an ideal world we should be bringing in McCarthy (who i personally think is a super player) in addition to Fellaini, especially as it looks like we're gonna play 3 in the middle with one dropping deep, each of the 3 lads (gibson, fellaini, McCarthy) could slot into that role comfortably, we swap fellaini for McCarthy and we're left plugging the hole with the likes of Osman and no one wants that..........by the way i haven't forgotten about Barkley, point being that if we're playing 3 in the middle then we'll need a bigger pool of centre mid players, simples
