Just for the record mate, I love Fellaini.

My comparison with Juve, was they play 3 centre backs, so dont need a DMC. They have a deep lying playmaker (Pirlo) infornt of them. I just think IF were to play this way, Fellaini does not suit that system AS MUCH AS A McCarthy type player. He would not be ****e in it though.

there is no situation that exists in football were a mcarthy type player is better suited to anything than fellaini

Please sign Matri, cracking player. Would love Medel as well.

Howard

Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

Medel Gibson Fellaini

Mirallas Matri Pienaar

Bossness.

FFS not more wigan players!!

and we havent even been linked with wigans best player by a mile last season either!! (not that i want maloney)

yes maloney was there best player people not koneichebe or McCarthy which says load to me how ****e wigan where last year!

How do you know ?

Quite simply, I've got an eye for talent, lad.

How do you know how much McCarthy would cost ?

From what the tabloids are reporting, we've have proposals of £12m rejected by Wigan. Cardiff on the other hand, have had a bid of less than £9m accepted by Toulouse for Etienne Capoue.

Of course it's impossible to know for sure until a deal is done. But I'm basing my transfer fees on what is widely being reported by the media.

A tabloid also reported Ibrahimovic was going to Fulham.

McCarthy would be a joke of a signing, nobody else is even interested in him.

Filling our squad out with Wigan players shows little ambition.

From SkySports

"Newcastle have withdrawn from negotiations with Lyon for striker Bafetimbi Gomis, according to Sky sources.

The Magpies were understood to have increased their offer for 27-year-old Gomis to £6.9million last week.

However, the Ligue 1 side have been reportedly holding out for a bigger offer for the France international.

Alan Pardew has been eager to increase his attacking options and set his sights on Gomis, who scored 18 goals for Lyon last season.

It is now likely he will turn his attention to bringing in QPR forward Loic Remy, who has been linked with a season-long loan deal.

Shola Ameobi and Papiss Cisse are the club's only recognised strikers and Pardew has been working with chief scout Graham Carr and the club's director of football Joe Kinnear in trying to recruit new talent."

Supposedly they were in the market for around 8 mil, would be a good buy but idk if hes in our budget
