We're not going to convince each other any different from what we're already thinking.

All I would say is judge them when they've both played enough games for us.

Kone could turn out to be top drawer and score a fair few goals, I'm not saying he will but he's far from average.

Or 'VERY' average.

not having a go and agree that time will tell but 29 goals at club level since 2007 (115games) is very average in my eyes! even 11 goals in the prem for a striker is average imo since he left the dutch league where anyone can score and went to spain he has struggled or been bang average

Best to think the worst sometimes. Then if something does happen then it's a nice surprise rather than the hideous disappointment we usually get.
