Get out and try the local restaurants. It's only my opinion, but I find the whole all inclusive thing a bit depressing.
Ya that is what we would always do try a different place every night and whatever place we liked the best would go back there on the last night.
Been in alot of them all inclusive places(never done it)and the food looks very hit 'n miss.some places looked awful while others looked alright but your options are very limited.

Working in Phoenix AZ in a few weeks....so just tagged on a four day motorbike self-guided tour in and around the Grand Canyon onto the end of it for my birthday.....can't wait. Nice BMW GS1200 and overnight stops in Phoenix, Kingman and Page.

I'm having trouble finding a hotel or b+b in York that ticks all the boxes and I'd like opinions on somewhere else to stay nearby that's attractive.

It doesn't have to be very close and I'm even thinking about Bridlington on the coast. We'll be driving from Edinburgh to Nottingham, and
we'd like to spend a couple of days somewhere half wayish. Any ideas?

June - July next year.

Copenhagen next month. Any shouts?

Take lots of money, paid as much as £15 for a pint.
Tivoli gardens, if open.
Round tower.
River cruise.
Day trip across the Oresunds bridge to Malmo.
Look for one of the many buffet joints, cheaper than most eating places.
Hot dog wrapped in bacon.

Is right. I know it's had historical links to the RS but the Carlsberg factory is pretty good and has the cheapest alcohol I found in Copenhagen. We ended up buying loads and taking it back to the hotel to save on drinking out.

The Glyptotek is free on Tuesdays if that's your sort of thing.

The aquarium is state of the art and very impressive, it's not in the city though, you have to take a train back towards the airport (from memory).

You can get combined bus and boat tour tickets that are good, especially as the weather might be a bit crap when you go.

Nyhavn is a pretty little harbour, all the boat tours will go through it, that's where my hotel was and really enjoyed it. There's a restaurant called the Union Kitchen near there which had some terrific food. Chicken and waffle is the one.

The planetarium is good, with interactive exhibits before you go into see the show itself.

If you're really searching for something to do you can go to Superkilen park, theyve tried to improve the appearance of the neighbourhood by painting it in wacky colours and generally shoving arty things in it.

I didn't have time to go into Christiania but I think it has lost some of its vibe since the police cracked down on the weed trading that went on there openly.

Everyone speaks perfect English which helps a lot. I think that covers most things.

Yeah, Nyhaven is lovely, took a river cruise from there. There was still a massive smell of weed all over Christiania, but it's a bit run down and seedy anyway.
