Got a month long Eurotrip upcoming.

Kraków, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Split and Hvar Island.

Any recommendations for bars, places to see etc?

Edit: No Brothels lol

If you like beer the Prague beer museum is a must. Craft beer done eastern European style.

The cold war museum in Budapest is very interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Also 7Stern Bräu in vienna cool bar

The Cerneho vola (Black bull) in Prague which is up by the castle and Pivovarsk dum , not far from Charles square.

I've read about people getting a drink from every village at Epcot. Not sure that's advisable (11 different drinks?), but it's something to consider.

11 different drinks may kill us buts it's a fine suggestion. Haven't got Disney tickets - prefer Universal, plus it's so much cheaper - but if we go, something to be considered.

Cheers for the heads up Mr Nigh.

I'm currently in Sarajevo studying architecture, so when the time comes, you could send me a PM and I could recommend you a few places to visit and what to see. Been couple of times in Belgrade, Prague and Hvar and once in Bratislava, so could also answer a couple of questions about these places too.

Enjoy your trip lad, Eastern Europe is beautiful.

Been a very busy UNI year this one, so I've saved up some money over the year to do few things over the summer that'll definitely help me rest and recover.

Going to ziplining, rafting, bungee jumping and most likely paragliding (done it last year already) in 3 different countries, which will be followed by 7 day sea-holiday with group of friends and then probably going somewhere far away with my girlfriend (Thailand being the number one pick so far). Gonna be a mad summer, for sure.

Went to Belgrade a couple of years ago. There are decent bars all over the place. Savamala is kind of a ex-industrial area that's gone hipster. A bit reminiscent of Berlin. Skadarlija is the "traditional area" and has a good atmosphere. There's an affluent district just off the main thoroughfare in the city centre. Can't remember the name but it's pretty cool around there depending on budget. The places I went in around there were western european prices so a bit more expensive. Then you've got the splavs on the river.

It's difficult to have a bad night out in Belgrade IMO.

Other than drinking. There are some good walking tours you can do, some free, others you have to pay (was about a 10er when I was there). My favourite was the one explaining the formation and break up of Yugoslavia. But there are others too.

I went to Red Star Belgrade's stadium, paid a quid to go in their museum. The guide in there had nothing to do so gave me a personal guided tour explaining all the trophies, pictures, pennants etc. There was an Everton pennant there from 1957 when we went there for a friendly. Enjoyed that.
