We're staying at Polzeath for about the fifth year running, so know all the surfing beaches inc Watergate Bay.
@roydo mentioned Harlyn Bay a while back, which is probably the only one we haven't been to

It's a proper Cornish cove type beach mate. Plenty of car parking which you'll need this time of year and the pub does decent food. The missus likes it as it's the only year round dog friendly beach around there.

Hope the weather stays good for you. We went for 3 weeks in Aril and had boss weather.

Strange choice of venue
It's a hidden gem lids. Good food, good peoples, UNESCO sites. Theres probably a good underground dogging scene there too.

Spent the day there today mate.
Even though the surfing was a bit " flat " it's a great beach and very child friendly due to the bay being so shallow.
Passed another sign post for another nearby beach - Trevone ?
