Wee Bay is a class character. Liked the final shot of him and Chris in the jail running things. The scene where Bunny visits him is a memorable one as well.Freeman

Daniels is hard as nails. Always had the impression he was a mechanical lover mind you.I'm watching again for the fourth time or something with my gf who has not seen it yet. Watching it for the first time after a while, I am more impressed with Daniels than I was previously
Also love Avon (you only do two days), Wee bey, and Bubbles. The Bubbles scene at the end has me in tears every time.
It works on a much smaller scale (Baltimore can stand in for urban America, but New Orleans is such a sui generis town that it can only ever be New Orleans) but it works, and it helps answer the question that The Wire left hanging in every viewer's mind: What if Lester Freeman were a Mardi Gras Indian? And, of course, the music's superb.I also personally loved Treme which is a show David Simon did about New Orleans, I'd even say I enjoyed it as much as The Wire. There's a folky, entertaining element to it though it's still as gritty and emotional as The Wire.
I don’t mind a comic film or series but I always find a week or so later I can’t actually remember anything about them. Why are comic film people talking about breaking bad in here?
