What is for absolute definite is we can not afford to flirt any longer with relegation for the next two years and Walcott significantly reduces that risk. He’s only £20m, wil be good for four years, that is standard

Signing Henry , Lookman , Vlasic , GIBSON , Bowler and playing Kenny Holgate Davies Baningame Pickford DCL is hardly short termism
RVP signing for Utd was short termism but he won them the league.
Needs be , and he will not be here long enough to really hinder our younger wingers breaking through
In the next 3/4 seasons the younger wingers can be gradually introduced and played in games that suit them rather than carrying all the pressure.
The Park Enders love a good boo and if it’s a young lad all the better
