So to summarise a lot of this forum at the moment..

We’re not spending enough money on players, but we’ve spent £20m on a player but he’s basically a pensioner so it’s a waste of money. We need more goal scorers but Walcott only scores at a better rate from the wing than all of our other options, which isn’t good enough apparently. The players we’re signing are too old even though we’re crying out for proven players with experience. According to a lot of people on here we apparently need to sign players under the age of 28 for low prices who are proven players at this level and who will score lots of goals and are also players for the future.

Easy that. Sort it Walsh you bad tit. Also get Ronaldo.

:drunk:

...and don’t forget we need to be hiring a new World renowned DOF (with correct ‘philosophy’); new proven, trophy winning, attack minded, progressive manager (with same ‘philosophy’ as aforementioned DOF) who will come together and sign all the players of the calibre you mentioned, in the 25 days between the World Cup ending and the transfer window closing..

Ask the DoF is,nt that what he is paid to do by the club.
If there is an option either now or available in the next 12 months we should be active because I reckon Bollassie will get found out, crowd will turn then he is on his way.
Maybe just maybe the DOF found these players and asked to sign for us on good money knowing that we could afford the fee their clubs would want
Maybe the players involved said something along the lines of
KOFF Everton , I want CL football

So that season he was scoring at a rate of 1 in every 2.28 games over a course of 32 games.

So if he played in the same vain of form for us over 38 games he would score 16.7 goals.

Considering he was largely a winger at Arsenal and we are yet to know where he’s going to play for us I don’t think you can categorically rule it out as impossible.

It’s like you’re writing the lad off before he’s here because you don’t like the idea of him being here?

Doesn't work like that though mate, look at the players he had round him at Arsenal, look at how Arsenal played (all out attack) going to be more difficult to score goals in this Everton side than it was in the Arsenal one.

At least the team will have some pace now with Walcott and Bolasie. The team also now has an experienced centre forward in Tosun . Both Tosun and Walcott have scored plenty of goals in their careers and that is positive.

Time will tell if these will improve the team but these signings were necessary.

We are all assuming that Koeman doesn't bench Bolasie, just to accommodate Rooney at no.10, just to accomodate Schneiderlin at CDM which meane Siggy on the left, to provide protection for Martina.

In fact these signings fulfill 2 of the must have options. If only there was a LB available at any price, no-one would have anything to moan about....

.....apart from the gum-chewing idiot we have in charge of course.

100%
We are going to have to rely on him tracking back, winning the ball from a tackle, then bombing it through defences and smack it into the top corner as he might not the ball otherwise.

In 15 games... 5-7 goals plus showing us obvious signs of improvement in attack and causing teams to sit deeper. Not arsed about assists, as most times they could be anything from taking on nine players and setting the striker up for a sitter, to getting a lucky toey onto a ball which somehow makes its way through to the attacker who then does an outrageous piece of skill to slot home.

291 prem games mate, 69 goals, so thats something like 1 goal every 4 point something games.

Nope. He'll be the one Rooney and Gilfi will be trying to hit with the long outballs as we sweep majestically up the pitch.
