T B F Robles has not looked good pre season either - needed to stay in last season when he was doing ok - We look to have no funds for a keeper as other parts of the team need addressing more i,e. A striker , and a playmaker - TH is still a liability as our many others in our side ala Kone!

It wasn't great by any stretch MK, I think he was possibly expecting the player to go past him and was concerned about bringing him down, but he should certainly have done a lot better.

More of a concern was yet again Coleman losing out when he's the last man back and letting himself get caught on the wrong side. Its a weakness that he's susceptible to and its cost us a few times, it might have been a nothing game but Seamus shouldn't get beat that easily in that position.

Yep our Seamus has looked a little lightweight a few times now on challenges he shouldn't be losing. Howard was pish poor for that second goal, christ only knows what he was doing as he ran past the ball. But he made 2 outstanding saves low down which fills me with 0.8% hope that he's going to have a terrific season ;)
 

TBF TH saved well to stop a third one going in - first testimonial game the other team were party poopers, mind you they tried to let us in to score a few times and thought sod it lets score a few!

Still not good enough seen Chechs saves for Arsenal top class keeper unlike TH!

What annoys me about Howard isn't his stupid mistakes it's the fact he doesn't care about them. He's always the first one the moan at the players around him yet, question his mistakes and you are given abuse. Howard has cost of lots of points in recent years most notably this season, where his mistakes have been ridiculous. My view of Tim Howard is he is a great shot stopper but useless at everything else. Remember him stupidly giving a penalty away at Anfield when we were 2 1 up, when maxi was going nowhere. Against Wigan when he pointlessly ran out and then stepped back making it easier for Nzogbia to score. There are too many mistakes to mention which is depressing. His positioning on free kicks is ridiculous which cost of goals against most notably Liverpool and Sunderland this year. He is useless at deal with set pieces just look at Kuyts goal against us when he stupidly ran off his line for no reason, when he knew he couldn't touch Kuyt without giving away a penalty. The man is sadly a liability who cannot be trusted anymore.
