I suppose. Thinking about it De Gea wasn't the best, he's just got better with experience.

I'd still like a new keeper for backup/challenge. Unless our younger keeper is any good.

No one will give you a serious answer tbf.

You can't even argue against the run he had while Howard was out, he didn't make many mistakes, he didn't play poorly and he kept clean sheets. The defence also seemed to be a lot more confident in him than they are in Howard.

He was unjustly pulled out the team when Howard came back, he genuinely deserves another chance as he didn't do anything to suggest otherwise.

What's worse is that because he's been out a while again now, should he be needed again, he will look shakey again for a match or 2, and the Howard lovers will bash him for it.

Yep it was pish poor management. Would understand if Robles had been rubbish for a game so Howard comes straight back in but that wasn't the case unfortunately. Saying that though, there's a common theme with our Boberto and that's that he has his favourites who he's going to pick regardless of form such as Barry and to a lesser extent the likes of Baines has come come back immediately after every injury. There's competition for places yet Martinez doesn't seem to believe in players having to earn the right to be picked.
