This is gonna sound like massive sour grapes but I;m approaching the point where I'm thinking what's the point watching anymore? The main action now takes place off-screen with a nameless referee in a VAR studio, it's like watching a different sport. And yet it's still open to interpretation with them not the giving the penalty on Rodri. So we have the same inconsistency and the overall experience is 100x shitter

It’s difficult as you were on the receiving end here.
Had it been the other way round you’d be on here saying how boss VAR is.

I didn’t think the Rodri one was a pen in fairness. It’s all still very subjective. Except the goal that was ruled out of course, that was definitively the correct decision. Just so gutting the way it played out.

You will have to win every game by 2/3 goals and be superb all season, because this VAR will NOT be applied evenly.

City winning the PL each season is not in the interests of "the product". Be prepared to be shafted at critical points this season as that 'kin lot get handed a title they haven't been able to win fair and square for 30 years.

Both the attacking players had their heads down as that ball hit his arm. Sounds like they have reinvented the handball rule rather the using VAR.

The goal was brilliant and not the result of a handball interfering with play. I’d be sick as a dog.

I can guarantee you the RS won’t get a decision as controversial as that.

Is it though? The Spurs defender pulls Laporte's arm just before the ball comes in meaning it's outstretched and in position for the ball to hit it.

Not a chance mate.

The very least that would happen is the ref being asked to look at a monitor at Anfield and the outcome wont be in doubt.

Liverpool WILL be punished by VAR...but it'll be at moments that are not costing them crucial points.

Apparently it’s in London, not even in the ground. News to me that all goals are VAR’d.

Ok. Explain why the action above does not constitute a penalty. Specifically, please comment on the whereabouts of Lamela's arms, legs and bodyweight as the cross comes over.
