100% agree & I do wonder if it is still a possibility. I fear FIFA are petrified of losing a costs of stadia ./ infastructure case to Qatar.

Was a bad one for my team too this week. Young Lewis Hardcastle has had to retire at 22 due to a heart issue.
Hopefully this is a case of "fortunate disappointment" and they've found it early enough that it can be treated and he can make a full recovery

Every country is as bad each other IMO. If you take it off Qatar then you have to take it off the US too, and England should never be awarded one. You could argue a country like Australia that holds refugees offshore in horrendous conditions should also not be awarded one.
They said last year they could do it if needed
