Also helps they have decent players.

Gallagher
Wilf
Olise
Eduoard

And defenders who can actually defend and defensive midfielders who can run and tackle.

All roads lead back to the issue of recruitment and under Brands we've recruited players more suited to Holland or Portugal than England.
All those players you have listed there , I'm sorry to tell you.

They are all examples of long term investment.

Something we clearly haven't done since moshiri arrived. All relatively young , with years worth of improvement ahead of them (assuming eduord is not close to 30).

Fundamentally that is our failure. That is moshiris failure. If we had invested our money into young players , we may not have won a trophy by now but our squad would have been so much better off , especially if we had bought to a model alongside a younger manager.

Instead we have not won a trophy by now and that disjointed transfer policy that had zero long term planning is what is relegating us.

All about patience and a plan

Not necessarily sir.

Godfrey
Gbamin
Kean
Iwobi

All players you could say were "long term investments"

Difference is ours are crap.

We played Kean like 600 minutes over two seasons and Gbamin's legs exploded. The monetary investment was there. The investment in time and development wasn't.
