Cleverley's half decent,free, but not really an improvement on what we have, so the FM guys can't dazzle us with their knowledge of people we've never heard of previously.

However, Georgina Dorsett is fit as, so I'm totally in favour of anything that causes her to be seen walking down Goodison Rd.

My point was, most of the time people have no idea how good or bad a player is.

When we showed interest in Moutinho I actually "scouted" him, I watched all of Sportings games for pretty much a whole season, my God, him and Arteta would have won us the league, he would have been so good.

Reckon we'd have kept Mikky had we signed Moutinho mate?

Fair enough. Be nice to see a bit of competition between Besic and Cleverley to sit next to McCarthy and garath not starting every game. (Assuming Gibson is still dead for most of the year)

Not 100% sure that 2 dms work for us, mind. Bit of a worry if we're having 5 defensive midfielders in the squad for next year. Hopefully we can shift one or two.

And I was sort of agreeing by saying not many people have properly watched Cleverley.

Ive tried to watch as many Villa games as I can, hes been borderline terrible, decent and had a few alright games, nothing special IMO, brief moments of good.

I've watched a couple of Villa games recently, mostly I'll admit to see wtf Sherwood would get up to on the sidelines, but
Cleverly has been showing more aptitude to pass it forward and then move into free space to help the attack. He also is being more aggresive in his tackling, last season for United he was far more static and often hid on the pitch.

I don't really trust this manager to adjudicate the competition, cleverly will slot right into the favourites bracket and will be picked ahead of besic or whomever regardless of performance
