Was not happy when we signed him even on a free, i though he was an average player at the best. Apart from the header at Newcastle he has not done much to make me change my mind on him.

The thing about Cleverley is that he does just about enough for people to say he played well today against some crap teams who we have a lot of the ball against.

When you're in games like tonight he will always be second best and always go missing.

This is probably right. He's a great bench guy/squad player. Those can be useful. We're just in trouble if he's expected to be a regular in our starting XI, which i don't think is the case

It's worth reminding people that he was a free transfer. He shouldn't be first choice but he's not a bad 5th choice CM or utility player for a club in our position. He may not have had a great game tonight but over the season he has proved useful.

Has couple dodgy games and he isn't good enough, Lukaku is total turd and puts no effort whatsoever for a couple of games and he still amazing, Everton fans that

It's based on his career. I've no real qualms about Cleverley providing he spends most of his time on the bench, filling in for injuries every now and again. I think Martinez sees him playing a far bigger role than that though.
