Ignoring the linesman (and ref looking RIGHT AT IT) horror show - have a look at dear old Tom walking on the edge of the D.

Yeah, don't bother tracking your runner lad, it's absolutely fine. You've only been hopeless for 69 mins so far, why not just keep going? You won't be subbed, crack on

Has couple dodgy games and he isn't good enough, Lukaku is total turd and puts no effort whatsoever for a couple of games and he still amazing, Everton fans that

He has yet to impress in an Everton shirt though, Lukaku has Impressed plenty.

One thing I'll say for cleverly.... Sooner or later he is going to score the ultimate volleyed bullet, in 4 matches now he's made the most perfect contact on the volley only for for them to get blocked, one day one will go in and someone somewhere will go "he's underrated that cleverly".

He's not a defensive midfielder so picking him to do that job is a bit silly

Okay it was Villa but look him last year when he was on loan there, scored against us and got a few goals for them. That's his game, not as a Gareth Barry lite

Where are we going to put him then?

We can't drop Barkley deeper for him - or use him as a number 10, his touch is abysmal and he hides from the ball. So noticeable when Besic plays how often he shows for the ball in comparison to Cleverley. He barely touched the ball first half.

Out left? He's not in the same league as Pienaar, he's nowhere near the player Mirallas is - that's two ahead of him already.

And you are spot on he isn't a defensive midfielder. That pathetic pseudo-snide challenge he put in for the yellow card sums him up as a player and an individual. He'd be shown up all night and thought 'yer I'll make my mark' zzzz.

Shouldn't be anywhere near our first team, and yet Martinez gets him in as soon as he can every single time. Embarrassing.

So how's he been performing as an Everton player?

I absolutely hated the sight of him at Old Trafford and was delighted when he left. He was a big game bottler who had an arrogance around him as though he had 'made it', when it was clear to anyone with a set of eyes that he was absolute dross the majority of the time. He did start out well at United, though and his loan spell to Watford early on in his career was extremely promising. I have no idea what happened to him along the way but his confidence was clearly an issue in his latter days with United.

Well with Besic out and McCarthy only half fit after a long injury who would you have put in there? Gibson? Aye, I'm sure the dynamic pairing of Barry and Gibson would have stopped them stone dead. Osman? The same. Personally I'd have seen what Stones was like in there but he was covering at right back for the unfit Coleman, and it would have probably been too much of a risk.

Every midfielder should be a defensive midfielder when we don't have the ball.

I'd love to beat that into Martinez until it sunk in.

Started with a lot of promise, but does a good impression of the invisible man.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was used to when he played for us. He has decent technique - it's wildly overrated, mind - but apart from that, he offers literally nothing. He doesn't have goals in him, he doesn't have assists in him and he certainly can't tackle. He's like a poor mans Adam Lallana and Lallana is absolutely shocking.
