But why buy in the first place ? We have very little speed in the team now, he plays like a crab, Martinez is talking about starting the Season,hitting the ground running they don't come much slower than crisis Cleverley ffs.

They do mate.

Facts of the matter on this:

* England international.
* No transfer fee.
* Wages not budget destroying.
* Still young.
* Spent his entire career at the highest level, the majority of which at the very highest level.
* Rated by high caliber managers for his technical ability.

I don't see how anyone could argue this is anything but a very solid signing that adds depth to our squad.

I'm not saying he's fast but he left Barry for dead before smashing it in from long range last time we played Villa so I guess that is an upgrade on this seasons Barry that we all had to deal with?

Trying to think of an Everton Central midfielder that wasnt called gash before we signed him:

- Gibson
- McCarthy
- Cahill
- Arteta
- Barry
- Fellaini

- Besic is prob the only one and arguably the above have been better.
Arteta and Fellaini weren't called gash before they signed as they had boss names. It was when they didn't immediately adapt to the premier league and single handedly destroy everyone in front of them that they were gash.

Clearly I cant guarantee it, but I think he'll be a good solid signing that will improve the team overall, for many years to come.
I know Ts all about opinions mate but have you really watched him ? He is bloody awful, yes he will really give us a boost,doesn't this manager know there is a great big World out there,Fkn sick over this signing.

it's just a Bobby masterplan, he's going to sell Cleverley to Villa for £8M-9M at the end of the window to make an instant profit which he'll give to Spurs for Lennon.

FACT.
