People banging on about this pass that “nearly” led to chilwell scoring. Why focus on the fact that someone “nearly” scored. The goal didn’t happen, fortget it. Everyone praising Bernard but it was his pas that actually led to their goal. Every player on that pitch made poor passes at some point, let’s support the lad. He did his role well on Saturday and had a good game.

It's a bit childish to constantly moan and scream for players to be dropped when the person you want to replace them is injured.

Gomes may well come in for Davies. I really hope he is on a different level to our current midfield options. But the lad hasn't played yet due to a pretty nasty injury and the boo boys will be out in force again unless Silva immediately chucks him in for the full 90 in the next game. And they'll all be delighted because they can abuse the manager too then. Double the fun for them.

Tuson has already been dropped and JJK is only in whilst Coleman is out injured.

Always sensationalising on here, you and a few others. Who is ‘moaning and screaming’ it’s giving an opinion on a player. One who the majority don’t think is good enough. I’ll base that off the reaction he gets at Goodison, which is a good as an indication as any from the match going fans.

Another one trying to pin some blame on the fans. So bizarre.

The lad is 20 years old and performing to a consistently good level in a Premier League side. The manager clearly rates him.

Do we need better? Yes. Is Gomes a better player - I have no doubt that he is.

But Davies and Gana is currently our best pairing with the players we have fit. Davies is playing well. He was taken off the other day because we had a numerical advantage and Silva went on the offensive - there's nothing wrong with that.

He isn’t performing to a consistently good level. What planet are you on? They even mentioned it on the commentary for the Leicester game that he’d been struggling this season.

Sandro was 21 and in a new country, he had shown a lot more promise than Tom Davies, I hope you shown him the same support.

Nah it's because Sandro has shown 2 single bits of quality in competitive games since he's been with us. The goal in the Europa League and the assist in the League cup this year. I wanted Sandro to succeed like I do with every Everton player (except Niasse) and judge objectively regardless of if he's one of our own or a signing. You should probably try the same.

Sandro wasn’t given a chance here. He was afforded the same amount of games that Davies has been, despite playing so poorly.

Why wouldn’t you want Niassé to succeed? It was through his determination alone that we managed a mini-revival last season.

Oh well, if a commentator gave HIS opinion they must be spot on.

Because those commentators always know what they're on about don't they?

He's playing well enough to deserve his place in the team.

I was fully behind Sandro. To say he 'showed a lot more promise' is utter drivel. And you know that.

I can absolutely guarantee you were slating Sandro when he was here. Is it a coincidence that we seem to play better when Davies is on the pitch? I don't think it is, and more importantly the manager who gets paid millions of pounds a year to pick the team must agree as he keeps picking him.
