To be honest, I don't see us finishing in the top four, but you never know. In the words of Jimmy Greaves "No! I'll tell you when I've had enough to drink you cheeky %#@&". No, not those words... these words. "It's a funny old game".

Like if we got a jammy deflection in the last few minutes instead of them we would be talking about going for the league in here. Hate how bipolar it gets in here.

We were really bad yesterday but the table doesn't lie, we're in the mix. Players coming back as well. We showed what we can do when we're on it. We are defo a bi-polar football club

Maybe by some but even the last couple weeks when we were winning a lot of conversation was "man, we dodged a bullet here, we really need to be/do better" or "winning when playing poorly is a good trait". We simply need to be and do better, it's not that difficult to admit. We haven't really played well since before the Liverpool match. We've been professional in the last 4, yesterday was the flip side of that coin.

I'd say a top four place is unlikely. We have too long a history of bottling it when the pressure is on. On the other hand, it's a strange season with some odd results - who would have thought the RS would get three points from games with WBA, Newcastle and Fulham, with a 7 - 0 away win in the middle of those results? So if we were to get a couple of good players in January, we might fluke it.

Points don't matter, the final table does.
Even if a team gets Top 4 with the lowest ever amount of points it's deserved cos they still got more points than the team in 5th.

When you see how we've played since our early season form it shows how poor this league is that we were in position to go second. Anybody who thinks we are playing ok needs to have a serious look at our team beyond the starting 11. At present we are unlikely to get top 4 and if we did i would fear an embarrassing in the champions league next season unless the squad is significantly improved

That's the spirit

If Everton were to make the champions league then the big % rise of income would allow for more spending beforehand on better players so a better chance of progressing in the competition.

It's nuts how quickly some people arc towards despair.

It's almost midway through the season and we're level on points with third.

That's precisely where we deserve to be. It's not a dance competition, the quality of the performance isn't scored.

Top 4 is most definitely achievable.
