Gutted we didn't get at least a point yesterday

Didn't think we played that badly

Should of have a pen

We need someone who can finish

If we lose to Palace I'm officially declaring this a "crisis"
Can't see anything but a nice little turnover on Wednesday. That combined with either United or Arsenal dropping points, And either Liverpool or Spurs likely to drop at least two points in two away games then I imagine the table will look a little better by the end of the week.

I've given up on the CL

we 5 points behind
Liverpool are in great form and have two inform strikers
we have no strikers in form
we're struggling to score.

Liverpool have 4th place wrapped up.

I don't have much hope for that either but I still think 5th is on, which would be a great outcome combined with the FA Cup run continuing.

Can't understand the negativity towards Naismith yesterday. I thought he did well until he was switched to the left after an hour. Last week Martinez's substitutions changed the game. This week I thought each one made us a bit weaker. Playing Mirallas through the middle doesn't work - Naismith is a much better option. Should have been ahead by half-time and if we had got one goal I think we would have run out comfortable winners as Spurs would have needed to come out at us more and we are good at hitting teams on the break. First half was best we've played in a long time imo.

Good evaluation that really.

If we'd scored first half we'd have won I think.

Not the end of the world that by any means, no champions league for sure now but they still should have probably won that game and had plenty of chances to do so. They were much the better side for most of it. That moment of poor defending from the quick free kick changed it and they just couldn't get going again. I'd be fine with top 6 and the FA cup run continuing though.

Again remember the difference on budgets on that pitch.

They? I think you mean 'we'. They were Tottenham.

I don't mean to be pedantic but you had me going there, for a mo.

He's so completely devoid of class though.

I mean, who bites another person beyond the age of 3 or 4?

He scores a tonne, but someone like that does damage to the reputation of the brand in my opinion.

True, but he isn't doing that $hit any more. He still screws his face up in agony when he's touched - or not - but that's not a foul, is it?

Just home. I know the derby ya have to live with the reds waffling on but for me that was harder to accept than the derby defeat. Win that and Every one would have took notice. We lost due to terrible luck and now every one is telling me 'see, told you Everton would drop off eventually'. In a game that meant so much how cruel can it get. I think I seen Everton play terrible and win a game once in the last ten years and that was a game v Blackburn when we got a jammy pen a few years back. Every win is hard fought and most loses tend to come down to terrible luck, bad decisions by ref. Only now and then do we get beat and deserve it outright , pool and city this term. But I had a feeling it would be an unfair defeat today it usually happens in these make or break games we find ourselves in. Can you imagine us getting a flukey win today? I would not have believing my eyes, we do it the hard way or no way at Everton.

My heart is breaking.

Sorry pal; the bad luck you keep going on about is actually not bad luck, it's all about a world class striker...

We have a Suarez nplaying up front, and we are leading 3-0 after 30 minutes and it's game over...that is the bad luck you are going on about...it's quite sad how managers and fans whinge on about bad luck, it's poor finishing...Osman and Naismith had about 6 chances between them in the first 30 minutes and scored ZERO...Suarez and Sturridge combination conversion rate is about 50%...absolutely phenomanal I know, but therein lies the rub...

You get what you pay for...we paid nothing for Leon and Naismith, and they have Sturridge and Suarez, and paid a lot...so you see, our defence is better than theirs, our midfield is better than theirs [when all players are fit] but goals win matches, and there is where we fall down, very very badly...
