Naismith, osman and bobby cost us the game.
Naismith simply not good enough and should not be starting.
Osman blew our best chances and again isn't good enough to start.
Bobby for starting both of them and the bringing mcgeady on instead of traore when we were crying out for a presence upfront.

Should of won that game nevermind getting a draw.

The defence cost us the game mate, they fell asleep for the goal it was there mistake, can't blame martinez for that.

Having Traore instead of Kev in that final 20 wouldn't have changed the lack of composure and structure to our attacking.

Pienaar or a Pienaar replacement/upgrade in the summer are key to how we play. Osman does small parts of the same role but also is too easily dispossessed.

Barkley doesn't pass well enough for us to do without both Osman and Pienaar in the team I reckon. An attack of Lukaku, Mirallas, McGeady, Deulofeu might sound good to some but wouldn't work.

Although McGeady showed a couple of bits of composure and decent link play.

Fantastic win by NZ over India in the cricket which made my day. Everton disappointed me tonight but maybe I was expecting too much. I know this might upset a lot of GOT patrons, but their IS a gulf in playing ability/scoring ability between the current top 4 sides and the rest.

Not writing anything off here, but hugely dissapointed by our second half performance. Especially after we went 1-0 down. Thought we controlled the game uptill that moment. Can't believe the substitutions Martinez made. One of Deulofeu/mcGeady and Traore surely was the only right way to respond?

4th place will be very hard to achieve after today.

The difference was that they had a proven goalscorer who only needed one chance to score.

Lol @ the people who wanted Lukaku dropped.

I'm not annoyed at the manager, the players or the football we played. I'm just annoyed at the sheer predictability of this result. And that we really, genuinely didn't deserve it.

The worldy saves, the jammy goal from the first defensive switch off of the match, the whole close but not quite-ness of the attack, the stonewall pen turned down, conceding at the worst possible time. All of this is just quintessential Everton. Only thing missing was someone getting injured.

This is the thing that winds me up. In our best passages the final ball is almost always "almost". It isn't good enough.

Also, Mark "you don't give penalties against Liverpool in the 90th minute" Clattenburg obviously feels Spurs fit into that too.

Lads, football is a weird sport. We could've battered Spurs in this match and finished seventh at the end of the season. Just because we lost does not mean 4th or 5th is off the cards, however unlikely it sounds.

From now to the end of the season;

1. The ****e will drop points.
2. Spurs will drop points.
3. We will drop points.

The main thing is to stay positive and finish as strongly as possible.
