Top 6 could be seen as an OK achievement considering it's Bobby's first season and we've been adapting to a different style of play. Plus we still have a chance of a cup win

yep, take nothing away from it. we got a horrific injury list at a terrible time and we've had to play both our rivals away in 6 pointers at totally the wrong time.

it's those kind of breaks that are the difference in football sometimes.

Don't think this is rocket science, we have had the same problem for 6-7 years we need top class strikers. 20 million pound strikers to move on, the **** things we will never get them.

If we can see how poor osman and Naismith are why can't bobby?

To start both was criminal.
As was putting mcgeady on instead of traore.

If the players on the bench aren't fit why didn't we bolster the squad in January?

Both did really well first half

Despite you lot missing some pretty key players nevermind some returning from injury and many of you are so easily losing your heads?

Better than hoof....conceded....defend for lives....hoof ........conceded......defend for lives.....hoof....win the header...conceded...etc etc

I know which way I prefer.

Cant be quite right considering we are on almost identical goals scored/conceded and points after the same games as last season, biggest difference is having no finisher to finish off the chances as appose to not having a finisher again but this time not creating any chances

Feckin livid with that performance and result.

We are in danger of blowing our very good start to the season.

I agree. Awful, first quarter of an hour apart.

Same old failings -- losing the big matches, moving the ball too slowly (a la RS last season before Rodgers realised you've got to zip the ball around to win matches regularly), turning off for dead balls, no incision in the last quarter, Barkley wanting one touch too many before getting his shot off, Pienaar giving the ball away, Osman's shots having the strength of a gnats fart etc etc.

3 defeats in the last half dozen or so league games - why do we always prove the doubters right when the going gets tough.

You can't win 'em all, a 1 nil loss away to spurs isn't a disaster, the season is 38 games, you have to accept that we're going to lose one or two along the way without reaching for the bleach.

Don't get too high with every win or too low with every loss, take a long term view and we're there or there abouts which is a lot better than many expected in Martinez's first season.
