id like to know how adebayor got man of the match ... for me distin and dembele were heads and shoulders above him in performance.

ps just a small point - would someone at the club tell osman pienaar and naismith to stop falling over like puney girls whenever they get out muscled. all 3 of them did it today , tried a fancy turn instead of any easy pass , got out muscled , lost the ball and sat on there back sides moaning at the ref while spurs ran away and into our half. it happens too much imo.

We needed much more of a presence up front - obviously Traore wasn't fit enough to start, but Roberto definitely should have brought him on. There was no outlet for the midfielders to play the ball into. Defensively we were great. Overall, I thought a draw would have been a fair result. Just one poor decision and loss of concentration cost us. No penalty at the end.
I agree with all you are saying apart from the last bit. I think we are just so used to not getting them away from home and the angle Coleman hits the ball after contact makes it look less like one. But it was. It definitely was.

I thought Osman was one of our better players and Naismith done well first half. The problem for Naismith is that he isn't a target man and needs someone to play up front with.

No real bad performances today, we just couldn't score and were punished for it. It happens, frustrating like.

These players should be able to play 90 mins not 45 mins the money there on

Will calm down later, but still livid after that. Osman needing 40 chances to score a goal is just pitiful for a premiership footballer.

We better have a couple of top quality attacking players on the way in the summer or next season will be miserable.

We have an expensive striker, but he's injured. We have a moderately expensive striker, but he's injured. We have a cheap striker, but he's injured. We have a free striker, who played.

Clearly the plan was to try to scrape through these games until we get one of the first two back. It's a shame we don't have a good youth player to fill in for these kind of situations.

Martinezs sub decisions I think are getting worse. Almost getting back to moyes taking pienaar off and shoe horning Ross into RM all to keep on a player who needed coming off at half time coz he is the managers little teachers pet. The majority of are best play came down the left with pienaar took him off and totally unbalanced the side.

And as soon as spurs scored they just shut up shop and we where never breaking them down. Same problem not getting enought goals and taking our chances when they come. What happened to us beating teams 4-0. I know the team has been depleted with injurys but since WBA we have just not looked as good as we have done for me.

Lets just hope with players comming back we can really push on finish strongly and have a god cup run. I said at the start of the season I'd be happy with a top half finish. Am happy with Martinez this season but am going to reserve my judgement on him till the end of next season. Coz he has all that money to spend .

Also is it just me or is Barry getting more and more tired as the season goes on!

Agreed. Naismith is a 'second' striker.

Osman done well today, no worse than anyone else.

We were the better side today, we just never had it in the final third. Hopefully a refreshed Lukaku is back soon, and this Traore lad is decent and can hit the ground running.

Aye spot on. I tried to swerve the SS thing as it looked a bit too Pro Evo mate. You tucked it away nice there though.

Let's hope we can get a good performance and convincing win in the cup next week.

Our confidence could really start to dip if we don't.

Aye. two big games coming up. I fancy us to win both.

Watched us first half and was clear that we're going places. Just maybe not this season.

Mirallas needs to pass the ball when in good positions!

Pedestrian effort once we went a goal down. Naismith to blame for giving stupid free kick away an being turd generally.

ah right, suppose you'd be saying the same thing if naismith won the ball, we countered and won the game? behave, it wasn't supid, it was an honest attempt at getting the ball and one that i thought he won tbh.

When you play without a striker you wont score goals.

When you "handicap" yourself by playing Osman you dont win games.

Call it knee jerk, defend Naismith and Osman, but they are the reason we lost, coupled with a clueless manager who thinks we dont need another striker when our only LOAN striker is injured.

Utter joke, Martinez lost my respect in January when he became another Kenwrong yes man.

should have signed adebeyor when he was outcast at spurs

gutted no one picked up on his ability

prob could have also got him for like 1 or 2 mil cos villa boas is a stupid tit.
Could not afford his wages and he was poor today got a dodgy goal from a allowed free kick - the ball was not taken from the fouled spot that Red Ref going on pre season tours a while ago. He is always the same with us - cost us and as for that pen on Coleman what a joke of a REF he really is connections with LFC he should never ref our games it cost us as Osman and Naismith did ok so leave them alone we looked worse when they went off!
