Palace and Swansea are playing well at the moment.

This could be some week for our season.

I think the transfer window has done us.

You can't win 'em all, a 1 nil loss away to spurs isn't a disaster, the season is 38 games, you have to accept that we're going to lose one or two along the way without reaching for the bleach.

Don't get too high with every win or too low with every loss, take a long term view and we're there or there abouts which is a lot better than many expected in Martinez's first season.

I'm afraid the result WAS a disaster. What the hell is your criteria of a disaster FFS? And we're now losing more than "one or two". I make that 3 defeats out the last 7, and 2 points out the last 12 away from home.

Fuming with Martinez there.

If Traore isn't fit why is he on the bench? If he is fit, then he HAS to come on in that game.

We needed something, anything up there. Even Vellios would have been an improvement in the second half, although Naismith did fine in the first.

Awful game to lose.

I hope he gets right stuck into them about turning off for the free kick, appalling goal to give away.

Martinezs sub decisions I think are getting worse. Almost getting back to moyes taking pienaar off and shoe horning Ross into RM all to keep on a player who needed coming off at half time coz he is the managers little teachers pet. The majority of are best play came down the left with pienaar took him off and totally unbalanced the side.

And as soon as spurs scored they just shut up shop and we where never breaking them down. Same problem not getting enought goals and taking our chances when they come. What happened to us beating teams 4-0. I know the team has been depleted with injurys but since WBA we have just not looked as good as we have done for me.

Lets just hope with players comming back we can really push on finish strongly and have a god cup run. I said at the start of the season I'd be happy with a top half finish. Am happy with Martinez this season but am going to reserve my judgement on him till the end of next season. Coz he has all that money to spend .

Also is it just me or is Barry getting more and more tired as the season goes on!

you may as well have not wrote the rest because i stopped reading there. 8 days after he brought on two subs who changed 0 pts to 3!

Played ok, should have got something from the game really... One of them

Yes, should have been a penalty

Next game Palace at home. Let's smash them

Disappointed big style sitting next to my father in law who's a spurs fan praising them up,they were so poor we should have at least got a point.Ive seen Pienaar many a time stop quick free kicks and I'm sure he would have been there had he still been on.We weren't bad but hope this is a wake up call we can't tippy tap for 90mins and expect to beat anyone without forcing it more.Roll on next game I want this one out of my mind faster than the derby loss,as much as I hate to say it Liverpool were much the better side in the derby, but we were the better side today and lost to an side that aren't very good.

I thought Osman was one of our better players and Naismith done well first half. The problem for Naismith is that he isn't a target man and needs someone to play up front with.

No real bad performances today, we just couldn't score and were punished for it. It happens, frustrating like.

Pipe down, Martinez Jr...I'm punching the dog here. If Everton don't win, my life is over.

When you play without a striker you wont score goals.

When you "handicap" yourself by playing Osman you dont win games.

Call it knee jerk, defend Naismith and Osman, but they are the reason we lost, coupled with a clueless manager who thinks we dont need another striker when our only fit LOAN striker is fit.

Utter joke, Martinez lost my respect in January when he became another Kenwrong yes man.

Unbelievable.

Think the posters continuously pointing out knee-jerkers are more annoying than the actual knee-jerkers, myself.

Annoying result and performance (both from players and manager) that. Possibly more so than the derby, considering how predictably poor that was.

Big game wednesday, think we will bounce back with a win then a massive game on sunday for us, big chance to get into the quarters, this is where we need to get behind the team, we still have a lot to play for.

don't disagree with your view, but you were one of moyes' biggest fans with 11 years of being his yes man?

Osman & Naismith did well in the first half I thought, even got subbed at the right time imo.

Would've liked to have seen Traore instead of McGeady in hindsight.
