Why does that matter when Di Marzio are saying Inter have accepted both offers and its down to Shaqiri?
Don't you get a signing on bonus when you are on a permanent but not when on loan? And isn't the loan usually for the wages they are currently on whereas a permanent could be fo a significantly higher salary?

I might have that wrong though - if there is no financial difference to the player then it shouldn't matter other than the desirability or otherwise of a permanent move.

I rate Shaqiri, he impressed me in the World Cup and any other times I've seen him, albeit sparingly.

I hope he plays for Everton soon. I don't know if this will happen. Instead of moaning I am going to wait and see.
 

Wonder if Payet is going to become this seasons Carles Gil on here.
Payet has a far better pedigree than Gill had. His stats don't lie, the most assists of ANY player in Europe last season.

The only question was/is can he do it in the premier league.

We've yet to find out, but lets just say todays performance was rather encouraging if you're a West Ham fan!
