Anyone thinking Roberto just doesn't cut it in the transfer market? Not convincing enough in terms of his own managerial record, nor able to persuade a player of his future plans. Plus, how many players know who Martinez is?

I've never been convinced by Shaqiri tbh, I like to think we swerved it rather than missed out. We need a player akin to the Arteta of 6/7 years ago. There must be one out there somewhere, preferably one who isn't overhyped by the meeja.

Agreed. Something doesn't sit right, despite his obvious talent. My issue with him is that he isn't a playmaker as such. While he would have played number 10 for us he isn't a playmaker by trade, and we badly need a playmaker.
